If you are an Egyptian citizen wanting to visit Turkey, and you hold an official passport, you are exempted from visa for travels up to 90 days. Ordinary Passport holder Egyptian nationals require valid Visa to enter Turkey.

E-visa is a type of visa that is used for tourism or business purposes. It lasts for 180 days and the visitor has only 30 days to spend in the country with e-visa. You are below 20 or over 45 years old; or I have a valid Supporting Document (Valid visa OR valid residence permit from one of the Schengen Countries, USA, UK, or Ireland). E-visas are not accepted as supporting documents.

HOW TO APPLY FOR E-VISA TO VISIT TURKEY?
The application for the e-visa is extremely simple. All you have to do is visit the electronic visa application system of the Republic of Turkey at https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/.
The application is made up of three steps.
Apply. Enter your country and the type of passport you have along with the security verification.
After seeing in between which dates are your e-visa is valid, and choosing the arrival date in Turkey, fill your personal information and you are ready to make the payment using your credit card or debit card. The visa fee is $20 USD for Egyptian citizens as of 2020.

Paper Visa
Why should you apply for a paper Visa instead of an E-Visa?
If you are planning to visit Turkey for any reason other than business or tourism or you wish to stay longer than 30 days, you should apply for a regular visa. You can apply for a lot more variations of visas.
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF APPLYING FOR A VISA?
You need to make sure that you have a valid passport with the expiration date being at least 60 days beyond the expiration date of the visa.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE AN INVITATION LETTER?
Some people can visit a country without needing a visa if they have an invitation letter. If this is the case for you, then, first of all, you need to provide everything that is stated in the letter. For the letter to be valid, the write of the said letter should include their Republic of Turkey ID number, home address, contact information as well as the details such as the purpose of the invitation and how long the person will stay in Turkey.
If the writer of the invitation letter is related to the person who is being invited, it should be mentioned in the letter. If the writer of the invitation letter will cover the expenses of the person who is being invited, the writer needs to include the documents of their income and savings in the letter. If the invitation letter is sent by a company, their tax certificate should be included in the invitation letter.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE VISA?
You need to download the visa application form from the official website of the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or you can get the physical copy from the Turkish embassy in Cairo. After completing and signing the form, you need to gather all the other documents that are needed for the particular visa you are applying for.
