 Home    Central Bank Explained: New Housing İncreased Before Referendum

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), announced that data from new housing price index. Accordingly, in the month of March showed an increase of 1.32 percent compared to the previous month, while the Hedonic housing price index recorded a rise of 1.12 percent in the same month.


The Hedonic House Price Index (HKFE – “Calculation of the observable characteristics of Turkish houses over time to monitor quality-adjusted price changes”) (2010 = 100) increased by 1.12 percent to 201.14 in March 2017 compared to the previous month.


In the statement made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), HKFE increased by 11.39 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and increased by 0.09 percent in real terms during the same period.
